About Me

My name is Giovanni; I lived in Barnegat, New Jersey for the majority of my childhood until I moved after my graduation from Barnegat High School.

I have collected memorabilia/photos/items/etc of Barnegat since 2020. I originally started with mostly just items from the First National Bank of Barnegat along with some local things that just interested me until I branched out into collecting anything old/historical/desirable from 'Old Barnegat'.

I have founded the "Ol' Tales of Barnegat" Facebook group on January 1st, 2023, as merely a way to share my passion for Barnegat. Since then, it has grown quickly to several thousand members who similarly appreciate the passion for the history of Barnegat.

This website is intended to be an informational/educational source of information about 'Old Barnegat' with photographs from my personal collection.
